This is our last week of April! Goodness has it been a very fun, eventful and so much learning month! We as a class learned all about Wassily Kandinsky the Russian painter. He would listen to music to feel his art so as a class we did just that! I have posted their art work outside and I'm so glad to see everyone enjoying looking at them. We have also been working hard learning all about the 3 R's; Reduce, Recycle and Reuse, they have caught on fast that it is everyone's job to take care of the planet!

We are rounding into our last month of school (ALREADY!) we will be doing a lot of reviewing of what we learned over the year and just enjoying our time together. Thank you to every single one of you! The classroom is still receiving cleaning supplies, paper towels and snacks, I know this class is blessed but please know how grateful I am for everything! We are already half way through April, it's been a busy week back and the children all bounced right back into routine I am so glad to be back with them all! We jumped right into all about the three R's; Reduce, Recycle and Reuse, the dramatic play area is now all about recycling and the children are having a blast sorting and learning all about making our planet healthy! The children last week learned about Wassily Kandinsky who was a Russian painter. Kandinsky is generally credited as the pioneer of abstract art and loved to paint with listening to music. The children was able to listen to four different genres and paint what they felt from the music. All of the children's art work is posted outside of the classroom, I do hope everyone gets a chance to check out their amazing work! This week will continue with the three R's, Earth Day and God's Creations. Thank you to all my OLM families in room #9 for everything YOU do, this classroom is so successful because of all of you!
