We are at the final week of September! It has been extremely busy in room #9. We have been learning all about; letters, numbers, counting, rhyming, writing out our names, Saint Vincent and all about our families. This week we will finish our theme all about our families and start to get prepared for the month of October. I know personally how hard it is to find supplies at the moment however, you all seem to keep finding them! Please know how grateful I am! This month is already flying by! There has been a lot going on in room 9! This month has been extremely busy with learning shapes, colors, letters in our names, writing our names, social and emotional, all about our families, prayers and learning about Saints. Amen **Important Dates: 9/24: The Feast of Our Lady of Mercy 9/30: Classroom Birthday Celebrations A huge thank you to all the families for purchasing books from the scholastic! We had a great turn out, if you didn't receive your books on Friday I will have them for you this week. Supplies are always welcomed for the classroom. I do know they are sparse so please do not stress if you are not able to bring any extra. Just know how grateful we all are for just keeping an eye out! The children are doing amazing in the classroom. They are doing well with the classroom rules, having helping hands with their jobs, they are adapting to our routine like rock stars, and always working so hard on learning! This week we will continue with our family theme. The children will be doing a show and tell with their family photo project. Show and tell has many benefits; help with self esteem, oral language skills and communication, active listening skills and making relationships. Room 9 is doing amazing because of this easy team work! I honestly could not do what I do without all of you, just know how grateful I am! The children are enjoying seeing each other's families and seeing how we are all different! As a group we are working on how we have 3 families; our home families, god's family and our school family. Just writing that reminds me how blessed we all are!
