This is our final week of December and truly I can NOT believe it! This year has been nothing but easy but being able to be in the classroom with all the children every day since August is  the greatest blessing I could have ever received. We will wrap this last week of December with lighting our pink candle on our Advent, working on all about the Nativity scene, reviewing letters, reviewing shapes, and of course lots of singing Christmas songs!

   We started our toy drive and already have so many gifts to give to children who are in need! The children have been talking in class how giving is one of the most true meaning of Christmas! Room #9 families please know how amazing you all are! There is always a constant and I mean CONSTANT support to this classroom and I just can't thank you all enough. Thank you for the class snacks, the cleaning supplies, supporting our toy drive and all around just everything you all do for our classroom to keep working smoothly. On Wednesday we will be having Pajama Day for the teachers and students, please know this is not mandatory but to just have fun. On Friday we close promptly at 12:30 and we will return on 1/4/21.       Our first week of December went amazing! The children really enjoyed learning all about Saint Nick and even able to hear his bells at our classroom door! Please take a moment to look at Seesaw for photos and a small video! This week will be just as busy focusing on; Advent, St. Juan Diego and preparing for Christmas. We will also be concentrating on Social and Emotional, working on letter(s), cutting skills and Handwriting without tears.

     Everyone should have received an email for Scholastic Book Club recently, all orders will be shipped to your home and free shipping is offered on orders OVER $25.00. This week I will be going over your child's extra clothes and sending out notes for what your child will need for the upcoming cold weather.  We only have 2 more weeks and these weeks are going to go extremely fast!
