Another week done, before we know it September will be here! As a class, we did stay inside more then usual due to the terrible air quality; but we made it a fun week! Lot's of dancing, moving, singing, art, and always learning. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory for ever and ever. Amen **Important Dates: 8/26/20: August Birthday Celebrations ASQ and ASQ-SE assessments went out last week. This is a questionnaire to see where each child is at development wise. Please don't hesitate if you have any questions. Once I receive them back I will score and together we will go over the results. I also started to send out our new family activity. This is a fun collaboration all about our families. September will be about our families as well as God's family. This is suppose to be an easy and fun activity to do as a family so please do not feel stressed over it! Seesaw class is up and moving! I am wanting you all to feel more connected inside the classroom and to keep up with what your child is doing.I will be introducing soon, Seesaw class assignments that the children will be working on in the classroom, but you will be able to see what they are doing. Every day the children get a "Helping Hands" job, this includes; Pledge of Allegiance, feeding the fish, weather person, calendar helper, line leader, caboose, librarian (picks a book and helps read it to the class), Prayer helper, ring the bell (with transitions), help spot garbage to be picked up, greeter (welcoming teachers, friends). The children are extremely responsible and understand that this is THEIR classroom and we have to work as a team. Helping hands is a great way to feel responsible, part of a team, sense of accomplishment, independence and lots of vocabulary. Thank you to all my families for everything! This is a group effort and you all are making it seem effortlessly. Thank you for all the sign ups for snack class, birthday sign ups, communication and for the classroom cleaning supplies. I am so grateful for you all! Blessings to you all, Mrs. Donavan
