We will continue to talk about eating healty this week as we will also be reading The Very Hungry Caterpillar. Our Alpha Friend will be Edna Elephant Ee. We will have a very busy week this week. On Monday moarning we will attend Mass in the school auditorium. Our school's 2nd graders received their First Holy Communion on Saturday so we will have a school Mass where they will wear their special communion clothes and receive communion with our school family. On Tuesday, April 17th, Mrs. Blackburn will present the "state of the School" meeting. This will be in the school auditorium at 6:30pm. All are welcome and it is a good idea to attend so you can get a glimpse of how our school is doing. On Wednesday, April 18th, our class will perform 2 songs in the school Spring Program with Miss C's Class. Please have your child arrive to our classroom at 6:15pm. The program will begin at 6:30pm. Our class will perform last. After the program, we will sit the children down on the stage. Please come up so that we can release them to you from there. Please have your child wear their OLM t-shirt. On Friday, we will participate with our school's mini Relay for Life. We will walk a lap around the back circle and visit the booths set up by our CJSF group about staying healthy. There will also be a Bark for Life event if you would like to come in with your pet and sign them up for some "doggy" activities. On Saturday, I will be out at El Capitan High School with our school booth at Relay for Life. There will be a survivor's lap and opening ceremonies at 9:00am kicking off a day of family fun activities. Our class enjoyed a visit on Wednesday with Detective Henderson. We were able to take a class picture with him as our class is sponsoring a torch in his honor. We will continue to pray for him. Please continue to send in pennies and dimes for donation collection.
