Dear Pre-K Families,
We are getting down to the last two weeks. There are a lot of fun things to come. We have completed all of our Alpha Friends and are working on our numbers and pre-kindergarten review. Please get with me if you have any concerns. We will meet with our reading buddies on Wednesday. Next Wednesday, we will have our last visit with them and we will share an ice cream snack with them as we celebrate our summer birthdays. If your child has a summer birthday, we will celebrate it on Wednesday, May24th. There will be a sign up posted in the classroom. On Friday, May 19th, we will enjoy Family Field day. This is a day to enjoy our preschool as a family. The 8th graders will put on a carnival in the back of the school. You may attend as a family and enjoy the games. This begins at 8:30am. The carnival concludes for preschool at 10am and then we will come back to preschool and enjoy a hot dog lunch. There is a donation bag in the class room where you may contribute a $5.00 donation towards the cost of the morning. After lunch, you may leave with your child or leave your child in our care if it is their regular scheduled day. If you are not able to attend with your child and it is their regular scheduled day, they will be assigned to a 7th grader to enjoy the games. On Saturday, May 20th, we will begin the demolition of our current playground. If you are able to help, please plan to attend and be ready to work. We will begin with digging out the bark. Thursday, May 25th will be the last day for preschool. Friday there will not be classes for preschool. If you are in need of summer care during the summer, please see Mrs. Mary for summer registration. We will open on Tuesday, May 30th for summer care. It has been a pleasure and a gift to get to spend the year with your child. Each of them has left an impression on my heart and I will miss them greatly. It is always so exciting to see how far they have come throughout the year. I'm Very proud of each and every one of them. Thank you, Mrs. Veronica
