Dear Pre-K families,
We are in week 2 of our theme Moving On. This week our focus is on trying new things. It may be a new food, a new chore, or even for some, getting dressed by themselves. I have challenged them each to try something new this week. Our letter this week is the letter Yy. we will continue to work on numbers, rhyming words, and blending sounds. We have finished our end of year projects and I would like to invite you to see them up in the classroom. This week we are reading Giraffes Can't Dance. On Friday, we will have our Preschool Family Carnival. We will have regular school hours that day. If your family plans to attend together, its best to just arrive at 8:30am. You may check in to the classroom to pick up a bag for your child's prizes. The carnival is free for preschool. It will take place in the back of the school on the Jr. high side. If you are not able to attend with your child, we will pair your child up with a jr. high student. After the carnival, all students and family will come back to the back of preschool where we will have some parachute play followed by a hot dog lunch. After that, you are free to sign them out or leave them in our care. School will be closed on Monday, May 27th, to observe Memorial Day. School will resume on Tuesday, May 28th. On Wednesday, May 29th, we will celebrate our May and summer birthdays. If your child has a May, June, or July Birthday, we will celebrate them on that day with an ice cream social with our 5th grade reading buddies. If you would like to sign up to bring something, there will be a list posted in the classroom. Thursday will be our final day of preschool. It has been a pleasure to spend the year watching your children grow. They forever will keep a space in my heart. I wish you each the best as your children move on to next year. Thank you, Mrs. Veronica

The Last day of Preschool will be on Thursday, May 30th. If you are in need of child care for the summer, please see Mrs. Mary for information about our Summer Program. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me. Thank you, Mrs. Veronica Pre-K Families, I have some exciting news!! Our class has been asked to sing a song on Friday after Mass. If your child usually does not attend on Friday, please bring them on Friday morning for Mass. It would be better if the children would stay together and sit as a class so that we can go right up to sing. Mrs. Blackburn will be highlighting our preschool tri-tip fundraiser and tickets will be available for sale after our performance. If you have any questions, please see me in the classroom or email me at [email protected] Thank you, Mrs Veronica |
