Dear Pre-K Families,
We would like to thank everyone that participated in the preschool pasta dinner fundraiser. If you sold tickets, purchased tickets, or helped during the event, we would like to thank you. The proceeds will go towards the preschool playground renovation. We have been busy into our In The City in the Country Theme. We have learned about what it is like to live in the country or on a farm. Last week we talked about the busy city and transportation. This week we will be talking about apple farms as we get ready for thanksgiving. We have covered Alpha friends, Callie Cat Cc, Queenie Queen Qq, and this week we will learn about Vinnie Volcano Vv. We have also been very busy getting our Thanksgiving costumes together. We have made an Indian vest, headdress, and necklace. We will enjoy a Thanksgiving feast with Mrs. Mary and Miss C's class on Thursday, November 17th. Their class will dress up like Pilgrims. Both classes will go on a Parade around the school before we sit down together to enjoy our meal. There is a donation bag in the classroom and each family is asked to please donate $2.00 towards the cost of the meal. We will have Turkey, corn, muffin, fruit, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie. If you would like to volunteer to help in the classroom that day, please let us know. (please remember that you must be safe environment trained and fingerprinted to volunteer) We are sill in need of Large Brown Grocery bags. If you have any at home and would like to share, please bring them in. Thank you. On Wednesday, we will celebrate our November Birthdays. On Thursday, we will enjoy our Thanksgiving feast, and on Friday, we will attend the Thanksgiving Prayer service at 8:15am in the auditorium. Preschool will be closed for Thanksgiving break 11/21 - 11/25. Please enjoy this time with your family. When we return, our class will be practicing with the 8th graders for the Christmas Program. The Christmas program will take place on Wednesday, December 14th at 6:30pm at St. Patrick's church. Thank you, Mrs. Veronica and Mrs. Romero
