Dear Pre-K Families,
We are on week 2 of advent.  We 'lit' our second candle for love.  We continue to be very busy with play practice.  Our Alpha Friend is Jumping Jill Jj.  We will have a special pizza snack on Wednesday, December 20th.  We are asking each family to please contribute $2.00 towards the purchase of the pizza.  There is a donation collection bag in the classroom.  We will be sending your child's school supply box home.  Please go through it and replenish anything that they will need for the second half of the school year.  If their glue bottle is running low, I can refill it.  We will be closing next week on Friday, December 22nd for the Christmas break.  The entire school will close promptly at 12:30.  There will not be any afternoon care.  Classes will resume on Monday January 8th.  We hope you enjoy your time off with your family. 

Monday, December 18th we will have play practice in the morning.  We would like the entire class to attend that morning please.

We will have full dress rehearsal for the Christmas program on Tuesday, December 19th at 8:30am. In the school Auditorium.  We would like every student to attend that morning also, even if it is not your day.  You are also welcome to watch. 

On Wednesday, December 20th, We will need everyone to arrive at St. Patrick's Church at 6:15pm.  We will meet in the cry room.  We will put your child's costume on over their clothes.  After the program,  Please wait to pick up your child.  They will be taking group photo.  We ask that after the photos, you please meet with Mrs. Hermosillo, Mrs. Mary, or myself to turn in the costume and check out your child.  There is a lot of commotion and we want to make sure everyone gets back to their parents.

Dear Pre-K Families,

This week we have been learning about the season of Advent.  We have our Advent wreaths hung in the hallway and have 'lit' the first candle for hope.  We have been talking about preparing ourselves for the birth of Jesus.  On Wednesday, we will celebrate St. Nicholas Day and learn about St. Nicholas.  On Friday, we will be in charge of Mass with our 5th grade buddies.  Please remember to bring in the wrapped toy marked boy or girl and the age of the child it is appropriate for.  We will be carrying the gifts up to the altar as an offering.  We are also asking families to please donate to the spirit of Christmas food drive.  Preschool has been asked to please donate canned fruit. 

This week our Alpha Friend is Hattie Horse Hh, 

We will continue to practice for the Christmas play.  The play will take place on Wednesday, December 20th at 6:30pm at St. Patrick's Church.  If your child will not be able to attend, please let me know.

We will be making a schedule change in events this month.  On Wednesday, December 13, we will celebrate our December Birthdays.  On Wednesday, December 20th, we will celebrate a special Christmas treat.
