Dear Pre-K Families,
We have begun our first week of advent. The children will be learning about the true meaning of Christmas and how important Advent is. They each have their own Advent wreath hanging in the hallway. They painted it and it is made out of their traced hands. We will be 'lighting' our advent calendar to count down the 4 weeks before we celebrate the birth of Jesus. Only the 8th graders ended up practicing last week for the play, but we have been listening to the music. We will have play practice on Tuesday and Wednesday. The play will be on Wednesday, 12/19 at 6:30pmThis week we will also celebrate St. Nicholas Day on Thursday. Please remember to bring a wrapped toy to donate to a child less fortunate. A note went home last week with the information about this. The children will carry up their donated gift during the offering at Mass on Friday. Please have your child wear their blue OLM t-shirt.
