DearPre-k families,
Last week we began our last theme, Ready For Kindergarten and Moving on. It has been such an amazing year. The children have grown up so much. I have enjoyed watching them build their friendships together. We have been talking about their accomplishments throughout the year and what it will be like next year in kindergarten. We are continuing to review letters and numbers as well as rhyming, blending and ending sounds. We learned about how Our Lady of Fatima appeared to three small children as we celebrated her feast day on May 13th. If you would like to watch the children's version of the story, I posted it on Seesaw last week. This week, we will review the Rosary, review making patterns and talk about making friends in kindergarten. We will be attending Mass outside on Friday, May 21st. If your child attends school on Friday, please have them arrive before 7:55am so that they have a chance to use the bathroom before we leave for mass. Also, please have them wear their blue OLM t-shirt. Next week will be our last week of preschool. We will read some special books and do fun things that the kiddos enjoy. We will celebrate children that have summer birthdays on Wednesday, May 26th with a special snack. The 2020-2021 preschool year will conclude on Thursday, May 27th. It seems as though the mosquitos are back. Please apply mosquito repellent to your child before they come to school. If you are in need of summer child care, please see Mrs. Mary for registration to our summer program. Please remember if your family is able to support the Little Caesars’ Pizza fundraiser, we would greatly appreciate it. You can send the link to family and friends. The pizza kits are shipped directly to your home. We are currently at 30% of our goal. Please place your orders by May 19th. It has truly been a pleasure to teach your children this year. Thank you so much for your support throughout. May God bless your families and your children as they enter kindergarten. Sincerely, Mrs. Veronica
