Dear Pre-K families,
We are in week 4 of our theme My Community-Going Green. We are working on the letter Ii this week. Thank you to all who signed up for parent teacher conferences. If you were not able to sign up or need a different time, please let me know and I am happy to work with you. This week our school is celebrating Red Ribbon week. There are some fun dress-up days if your child would like to participate. Please follow the Facebook page for Our Lady of Mercy School. Ours is the one with the navy blue Lancers shield. On Wednesday, we will celebrate our October Birthdays. The Library is hosting a Scholastic Book Fair this week. We will visit on Tuesday. Please plan to visit and purchase books to support our Library. This weekend on Saturday, our school will have a Halloween Carnival. It is a fun family event. All are welcome to attend, invite your friends. It will take place in the back of the school and the auditorium. This is a chance for your child to dress up in their Halloween costume. Next week we will have a 'Pumpkin Patch Party.' This will take place in our classroom and in our backyard. We will have a special snack. Thank you to all that have signed up to bring something. If your child would like to bring a small treat to share with their friends, they may bring a bag of wrapped candy and will have the opportunity to pass them out. Please remember that preschool students are not allowed to wear Halloween costumes to school on Halloween day. Thank you, Mrs. Veronica
