Ash Wednesday went amazing for our classroom. We were blessed to have ashes brought to our classroom and the children really enjoyed receiving their ashes. This week we will still be going over Lent and preparing for the celebration of Easter. This week we will also be going over Clifford; "What Should He Wear?" learning on proper clothing for different weather. For Second Step we will be going over "Having Fun with Friends", when you play in fair ways, everyone has fun!

     This is our last week of February and it's an eventful one! Tuesday we will be celebrating Fat Tuesday and Wednesday Ash Wednesday and we also will be focusing on Lent. We as a class will not be going to mass but Mrs. Mary will be bringing in blessed ashes for our class.

     A huge thank you to everyone for helping out with our Valentine celebration, it was a great turn out and the children had fun! This will be a busy week for sure, but a lot of learning about Ash Wednesday and Lent, as well as our Second Step for fair ways to play. Clifford we will be concentrating on healthy smiles and different ways of keeping our teeth healthy and strong.      The children had a great start to February. As a class we are going over how we have nice hands, nice feet and nice mouth with everyone in the classroom. We also have been going over Saint Valentine and Lent that will be coming up very soon.

     I am requesting for my families to take a moment to look through your child's extra clothes, all extra clothes should have: socks, underwear, pants, and a shirt/long sleeve shirt, this is extremely helpful if we are in ever need to change your child. We will be sending out soon Preschool See's Candy Fundraiser. This is a huge benefit to our preschool and all orders will be in before our Easter vacation. If you have any questions please let me know!
