Happy Monday to all my OLM families. Lent is a time for us to reflect and do nice things for our families, friends, our grandparents, giving a compliment,  the children yesterday told me they like my red sweater, I was so flattered when they told me that it made my day. I told the children that was nice words and we all can use nice words at home and helping out by picking up their toys and being good helpers at home for lent. We are being like Jesus how he fasted for 40 days during lent! We will start our month with the shape oval, color yellow and brown, finger plays; I have a savior his name is Jesus, 1 little 2 little 3 little clovers smiling at me. For Clifford; Go Spring Babies, we will be talking about baby animals and what they do. For our Prayer "Our Father" We are talking about personal space and how important it is to be washing our hands to keep germs away. See's Candy fundraiser will be ending soon. Hello my OLM families I can't believe we are almost done with the month of February, it's flying by. I am looking forward to being back on our routine with the children, I have missed them all. We will be learning about lent and waiting for Easter. Mrs. Hermosillo has been helping me with our class basket for the school auction, it is turning out really nice. Please bring the items you have signed up for the basket, I should be done with the basket this coming week, thank you! We will continue with our prayer Guardian Angel, the color pink and the shape heart and our finger plays for February. We will not be having parent/teacher conference for my class however I will let you know how your child is doing in class. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me. I try to keep you updated everyday on their daily routine from morning group time till the end of the day when they are picked up. I am so proud of my children, they have been doing very good with Social and Emotional and in group time they have been practicing with their names, colors, finding colors in the classroom and their shapes as well have been focusing in group time and ready for my questions in story time.  For Clifford we will be working on "Hearts Mean Love". Hello my OLM families, hope all is well with everyone. We are in our second week of February and we will celebrate Valentine's Day on February 11th. As a class we are exchanging Valentine's cards with our friends in the class, please put your child's name on the back of the cards to exchange in the class with their friends. We will continue with our shape; heart and the color; pink. We will also continue with our prayer Guardian Angel. We will continue with "Our Healthy Teeth" with Clifford. I have noticed in the children's lunches everyone has something healthy. I have seen blueberries, slices of apples, celery, peanut butter, raspberries, tangerines and broccoli. Great job on having healthy fruit and vegetables!
Two of my room parents have been working hard on getting a list ready for our OLM school auction. I will have a list on the table when you sign in the morning, please take time to read the list to help fill the basket up for our OLM school auction. Thank you for your help! We will be closed from February 15th-19th and we will resume back  on February 22nd back to our routine. Have a blessed week, Happy Valentine's!
