Again, always a huge thank you to our families for all of the support. Please know our doors are always opened! Blessing's to all! Mrs. Irma and Mrs. Donavan Now that we are heading into our second week of September the children are really getting into the classroom routine. The children are really understanding our Listening Rules and even working on Self-Talk that we have been working on in our Social and Emotional unit. We have gone over how important it is to use Self-Talk to keep us focused, to help us understanding their needs or wants, to even help in a situation with a friend. The children are also really enjoying Clifford Big World curriculum. Our second week is about going over "Let's Start School!" It is showing the children how we greet families, teachers and our friends when we come into the classroom in the morning, how school can make you can feel nervous or sad when families drop us off to start our day, but how we can talk to the teachers about our feelings and to be reminded that they always come back! This week the children are going over colors; green, orange and red and shapes; rectangle and diamond. For our Social and Emotional this week we will be going over how listening and following directions help learn us learn, as well as; repeating directions. We are also wrapping up this week with "Let's Start School!" with our Clifford Big World. The children enjoyed celebrating Mother Mary's birthday, we had a fun snack and even sang to Mother Mary. Thank you to all our families for volunteering for snack on our monthly calendar!!
