We will continue with our counting, colors, shapes and Saint Francis of Assisi. Saint Francis of Assisi believed in blessing all the animals in the villages. Please bring any pictures of your pets to school with your child so we can do an activity as a group.

     Hello OLM families, this week we will continue with our 5 senses, Clifford, shape(s) and color(s). In the classroom the children really enjoy looking for our shapes and colors! Have your child find shapes inside the house and outside. Have them look for the color green and red, and look for different shapes, they are all around us! Social and Emotional this week will be about how to identify feelings. For religion we will be going over Saint Vincent. We will also keep working on talking all about our families.

     Hello OLM families I would like to say thank you to our families who brought the three apples for our class! The children really enjoyed working on our five senses with the different types of apples. If you haven't brought your apples please do so this week, we will be continuing to work on our 5 senses. This week we will also be continuing with our counting, shapes, colors, and Seesaw. Our prayer for this week is Hail Mary.

     Hello OLM families! I would like to send a thank you to all the families for bringing in the ASQ and ASQ-SE back, this is a great assessment tool to see where your child is at, at this time. This month is going to be a busy one and starting next week we will be celebrating Mother's Mary's birthday. We are  working on discussing about our family's, talking about how blessed we are to have our families. We will continue to work on counting 1-10, our 5 senses, color green and the shape square.
     We are starting our Clifford curriculum this week. I really enjoy this curriculum and the children learn so much! These next 2 weeks will be about apples! Red, green, and yellow apples. We will use our 5 senses to hear how crunchy they are, smell the sweetness of the apples, our eyes for the different colors apples have, feel the texture of the apples, and of course taste the sweet or sour of the apples! I would really like every child to please bring 3 apples each!
     In October we will be discussing Saint Francis of Assisi. Saint Francis of Assisi believed in blessings of all animals, I would like to do a class project with photos of our family pets. If you can please send a picture of your pets, it can either be just a photo of your pet or a photo with your child and pet.
