Out of This World~

We are moving right along in our classroom! We are continuing to work on our classroom rules inside the class as well as our outside rules. The children are doing very well and acclimating smoothly. This week we will be working on colors, shapes at group time and from there we use our eyes to look around our environment to find anything with the color or shape we are working on, the children really enjoy this! We are also working on Social and Emotional curriculum.

    I also wanted to send out a friendly thought, it is very normal for children to have separation when getting dropped off in the morning, the best thing you can do is reassure your child that our families always come back, a nice big hug and let your child know you will see them soon! I do know it's hard to leave when your child is crying but please be assured, I have a quiet area for the children when they are needing that extra time and space and I am also reminding them that their families always come back. It's usually a quick process and the children bounce right back into routine. Please do not hesitate to call if you would like to check in and see how your child is doing afterwards.
     Thank you to all our families for the supplies for the classroom and the snack sign ups. I am truly grateful for everything!
