8th Graders:
Being a role model can be difficult. It involves watching our thoughts, words, and actions so that they cause others to have GOOD thoughts, words, and actions. How are we as role models? Calendar 8th Homework : ? of the Day: 9/27: Have you shared your Safe Environment experience with your parents? They need to talk to you about some of the questions they need to respond to in their packet. Please return their evaluation to us tomorrow. Have you chosen your saint? Let me know your choice tomorrow. 9/26: List two issues that the candidates for governor are debating and write the view points of at least 2 candidates. To find this information research on line. Ask questions in "search" about water, taxation, housing, schooling issues in California governor race. 9/25: The Cornell Notes for history should address the facts for each environment of economy: food and trade, technology: buildings, weapons, boats - anything used to solve a problem, and culture/religion: the beliefs of a society and how it's organized. 9/24: Have you read the beginning comment, after "8th Graders," to all of you for this week? How are you doing - explain in writing. It is an 8th grade expectation. Don't forget to give your parent the lime green flyer. Religion: 9/27: Finish researching and choose a saint for your project.
