6th grade parents: The 6th grade is singing in the Christmas program. It is at Saint Patrick's church at 6:30 PM on Wednesday, December 14. Please arrive by 6:15. All sixth graders should wear nice church clothes. Please no jeans. If they do not have other pants, their uniform pants are fine. Also, please no t-shirts or shirts with things written on them. Boys may wear collared shirts or sweaters. Girls may wear, nice shirts or sweaters. Thanks so much for your cooperation. I'm sure you will enjoy the program! _____________________________ International night: This will be in February, and our class will be studying Italy. Please let me know if you have any items from Italy that we could have on display at our booth. Also, we are looking for volunteers to prepare foods from Italy to hand out at our booth. You can earn volunteer hours for cooking. Also, we will be needing parents to work at the booth (again---volunteer hours). __________________________________ 6th grade Religion: Monday: no class due to schedule for electives Tuesday: text: p. 326-327 (we still have not gotten to this even though it has been on the blog for a couple of weeks.) It's a very busy time of year. Perform Christmas program for school at 8:30 Wednesday: pracitce church. Please get dropped off at regular school time (8:00 AM) at St. Patrick's Church. Parent drivers wlil bring us back to school following practice. Thursday: Bible search Friday: Christmas assembly ____________________________________-__ 6th grade English Monday: speeches. Those students wishing to try out for the speech festival will try-out today. Speeches should be memorized. You may use notecards. Anyone giving their speech to the class will receive 25 extra credit points in English. Even if you are not interested in going to the speech festival, you may still give your speech to the class for extra credit...it must be memorized or near memorized...note cards only, and no reading!
