Week of 3/25-3/29

   March 25-29  

​Just a reminder that there is no school on Monday, March 25th.    This is parent/teacher conference week, there is early dismissal all week long (12:30pm).  If you have any question about your child's report card that went home on Wednesday, March 20th, we can discuss them during the time of our scheduled conference.  Also, at conference I will be giving out more information regarding First Holy Communion and answering any further questions you might have about that day.

  This week in class:

  Reading- chapter 27 in Superkids.  We will continue to work on reading with  tone and expression,  we will  review parts of a story beginning, middle, and end, and the main idea of a text.

  Phonics- encoding and decoding long i words, comparative and superlative adjectives, and writing in complete sentence form.  We also will be writing opinion paragraphs.

  Math- completing our Time chapter.  There will be a test on Friday, March 29th.  A study guide will go home mid-week with your child.

 Religion-Blessed, preparing for First Communion.

 Social Studies- this weeks weekly is Money and Markets.

  Science-Earth's Water and Land.
