Week of October 28-Nov.1

****Days to Remember**** 

Thursday, October 31st-students can wear their Halloween costumes to school. There will be a costume parade in the morning.

Friday, November1st-All School Mass.  Students should be in full uniform.
 
**shorts are no longer allowed to be worn until the spring**

  In this week in class:

 Reading- practice reading with expression, practice reading using proper pitch for questions, comprehension.

  Language Arts- decoding oy, oi, ou words; decode tag along e words; and encode homophones to complete sentences.

 Math- continue with addition and subtraction word problems/bar models.

 Social Studies- Maps and Globes.
 
Science- we will begin our new chapter, How People Grow and Change.

 Religion- Blessed, preparing for First Penance.
