8th Grade: October begins the month of the Rosary. At OLM we dedicate this month to Mary. Let us look at Mary's actions and words as we say the Rosary and see if they can help guide our actions and words in Life. She is good and lovely and gracious and we can be too.
Calendar: Monday, October 3: 6pm Safe Environment Meeting Thursday, October 6: 8am Morning Prayer followed by all school Rosary Friday, October 7: Bring St. Vincent Lunches 11:00 Animals ARRIVE and Mass followed by Blessing 12:30 Dismissal END OF 1ST QUARTER Monday, October 10: 6th Grade leaves for Camp ? of the Day: 10/4-6: If you have not read the calendar for this week please check it. Remember to bring St. Vincent Lunches this Friday - we will NOT be the Rich Man who failed to feed Lazarus! D Street donations will be due next Tuesday for our meal on Friday. *Please Note* - your pets you want to have blest on Friday will come to school with your parent(s) at 11:00. You will attend mass with your class and you may get your pet for a blessing after mass. * Remember to keep 6th grade in your prayers* HOMEWORK 8 Religion: 10/4-10/7: Saint Report - plan on working on it; Sunday Reading questions due Friday, Connections on Monday Saint Report Timeline due date 9/30 Outline 10/10 notecards 10/19 rough draft 10/25 costume and plaque 8 US History: 10/4-10/7: play the matching game each night with your article and amendment cards - if you have not yet turned them in keep them until next Tuesday and play the game each night so you know them for quiz next Friday.
