4th Week of 1st Grade!!

Reading-We finished the Review of Kindergarten today and started with our 1st Grade material. All of the students should have brought home their review book in their planner for you to see.
This week we are reading Cass's Cat and Help.

Writing-Work on selecting a topic for a narrative, write down events in order

Spelling Words this Week- bunch, lunch, inch, pinch, ranch, branch, chip, chop, chick, check

Math-Math Test on Chapter 2...We will begin Chapter 3 on Wednesday which is learning different ways to add.

Social Studies-Test on Rules

Science-5 Senses, Living and Nonliving Things

Religion- Things we see in Church

Art-The Day the Crayons Quit-Coloring/Drawing Project

P.E.-Dance inside---It's Hot!!

Picture Day-Tuesday or Wednesday---Depends how far they get on Tuesday---I will let you know if they did not get to us on Tuesday
