Thank you to everyone who attended their child's conference. I enjoyed seeing you all.
***Due to this week being a short week we will write the ten spelling sentences during class. If your child still wants to write sentences at home they may do so. Also, our practice spelling test will be on Wednesday. If your child spells all ten words correctly on Wednesday they will not have to take the test on Thursday.***
Reading--We are reading "The Garden Club" and "For the Birds". Please have your child read on Superkids website over Easter Break...they get rusty fast if they do not read a little everyday.
This week we are learning the sounds for "oi" and "oy". We went over today that when we spell with these sounds the oi is always in the beginning or middle and the oy is used at the end of a word. For example---boil and boy.
