Happy Monday everyone! This week we will be exploring more shapes and colors! We will be working on triangle and rectangle, for colors: yellow and pink. For lent I would like us to work on the song "I have a Savior (Jesus is his name)". I would like us to also work on the song "10 Little Easter Bunnies Hoping Around"
Lent is a time for us to reflect and do nice things for our friends and family. What can you do that is nice for brothers, sisters, mommies, daddies, grandmothers and grandfathers. Mrs. Eva and I would love to see a photo of what you did that was nice!
Keep up the great work on FaceBook, Clifford and Get Epic! Mrs. Eva and I are enjoying seeing everyone and all the participation. Please do not hesitate if you have any questions or concerns!

God Bless You All!

     Good morning to everyone! I would like to start our prayers as a class;
The Lord's Prayer:
"Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil."
Prayer of Allegiance:
pledge Allegiance to the flag
of the United States of America
and to the Republic for which it stands,
one nation under God, indivisible,
with Liberty and Justice for all.
I have sent out Get Epic links to everyone's emails. If you have not received a request please let me know right away so I can fix that. I do appreciate everyone's patience during out first week, I know with our prayers and faith this will all become easier.

God Bless You All,

Mrs. Irma and Mrs. Eva

Hello everyone! A huge thank you for all of your patience while we keep working out the wrinkles. Everyone should have received an invite for GetEpic. It's such a fun site with books, videos and quizzes. Each day we will be assigning new books so as a family you can read together. If you haven't received an email please let myself know right away.
     Tomorrow we will be celebrating Saint Joseph;

Hello to everyone! Mrs. Irma and Mrs. Eva are missing everyone's sweet faces. This morning wasn't the same without seeing all of you. We will be blogging as well as sending emails to keep contact with everyone during this time. Last Friday we had put school packets of what we would be working on during the week, we will also be posting on the blog, so please keep checking in to stay updated!
We are working on the prayer; Guardian Angel: Angel of God, my guardian dear, to whom God's love commits me here, ever this day (or night) be at my side, to light, to guard, to rule and guide. We would really love if you could recite this prayer each day as a family. Not only do we need the extra prayers for our world but to bring strength to our families.
We also work on Clifford Scholastic and the children just love this curriculum. We will be attaching the link and you and your child can easily go on, just a simple log in as a student and password; olm209. This week we are working on "Teeny Tiny Nest". Take a look around when you log in, there are videos, games and activities.

As a class this week we would be working on the colors; blue and purple. Have your child show you in their environment what has the color purple or blue! Fun activity during this rainy week. For our shapes we will be working on diamond and square, again make this a game each day to keep them on a small routine! Lastly our song for this week; "Five Little Monkey's Teasing Mr. Crocodile"

Five little monkeys

(5 fingers held over other arm (4 for next verse, etc))
Sitting in a tree

Teasing Mr. Crocodile,
(teasing faces, hands up to face like moose antlers or one hand in front of nose)
"You can't catch me."

Along came Mr. Crocodile,
(finger up to mouth like SHHHH)
Quiet as can be
SNAP

(Both hands clap together like a crocodile's mouth)

Four little monkeys
Sitting in a tree
Teasing Mr. Crocodile,
"You can't catch me."
Along came Mr. Crocodile,
Quiet as can be
SNAP

Three little monkeys
Sitting in a tree
Teasing Mr. Crocodile,
"You can't catch me."
Along came Mr. Crocodile,
Quiet as can be
SNAP

Two little monkeys
Sitting in a tree
Teasing Mr. Crocodile,
"You can't catch me."
Along came Mr. Crocodile,
Quiet as can be
SNAP

One little monkey
Sitting in a tree
Teasing Mr. Crocodile,
"You can't catch me."
Along came Mr. Crocodile,
Quiet as can be
SNAP

No more little monkeys
Sitting in a tree

Lastly our Social and Emotional. As a class the children really enjoy this curriculum and it has been amazing what the children have been learning all year. This week is all about Joining in with Play. Noticing what other children are playing and offering ideas for play helps you join in. How do we ask other children how to play? How do we ask if one could join?  This theme is important to develop the ability to join in the ongoing play of other children, and learning to use our words.

We want to send a huge thank you for the continuous support. This is the time to unite and pray for everyone around us. Also, if anyone is in need of anything please do not hesitate to send out a private email to myself; irma.lopez@olmlancers.com or Mary; mary.kravec@olmlancers.com. We would love to help in anyway we can. May God lay a hand on all of your families and feel at peace.

God Bless You All,

Mrs. Irma and Mrs. Eva
