1st quarter is almost over! Please make sure students continue turning in missing assignments, complete all their classwork/homework, and study! We have been taking timed multiplication tests and made multiplication flashcards last week to get their times tables memorized. Please make sure they are reviewing these everyday. As always, please check and sign their planners everyday. Congratulations to the Giants team this week!! They started out slow but came out on top! Keep reaching our goal of 300 points. Awesome job!! Start Chapter 7- The Commandments and the Beattitudes and chapter review. Math- Review on Multiples and lesson on multiplication using models. 4, 5, 6 multiplication timed test. Chapter 2 Review. Language Arts- Lesson 5 start our new story "Stormalong." Grammar lesson on homophones and capitalizing important historical events/documents, and titles. Continue prewriting a fictional narrative and completing a story map. Complete a rough draft. Social Studies- Week 9 California Indians in the Central Valley. Read together and highlight important facts. Crossword puzzle, think and review and handouts. Continue our lesson on CA Native Peoples and Missions. Science- Lesson 2 Review. Start Lesson 3 "How Organisms compete and survive." Review questions and workbook pages. Art- Halloween art project P.E.- Kickball/relay races
