Dear Pre-K families,

Happy New Year and welcome back. We hope that you all enjoyed some time with your families during the Christmas vacation.  This week we will start are new theme, Seasons All Around.  We will be talking a lot about weather and conditions related to each season.  Our Alpha Friend in Umbie Umbrella Uu.  I will be working on midyear assessments in preparation for parent teacher conferences in March.  There will not be school on Monday, January 15th so that we may observe the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday. 

Please remember to bring in your child's school supply box if you have not already done so.  Also, please check to see if their extra clothes need to be re-stocked.

We are looking forward to our School Dinner and Auction fundraiser.  It will take place on Saturday, January 27th at the St. Patrick's Church Hall.  Tickets are available in the office.  Our room parent, Mr. Van Hagen has been working on getting our class auction item ready.  It is a beautiful American flag made out of fire hoses.  The children have all painted their handprint on the back of it.  It will be on display in our classroom in the next few weeks.  We are asking for a donation of $5.00 per family to help with the cost of making it.  A donation bag will be up in the classroom.  We appreciate you support.  It will be available to bid on the night of the auction.
