Welcome to the second week of school !!
We will begin our very busy 3rd grade schedule this week. Please continue to check your child's planner daily for messages and assignments. 

Reading- Lon Po Po
We will have our comprehension test on Friday.
Math- chapter 1

This is our new program which most of the students had last year. Be patient and ask any questions needed during the lessons. I will send home as much information as I can when it comes to learning the chapters. 
Social Studies- geography of California 
phonics - unit 1
English- unit 1
We will have a Unit Quiz on Thursday. The students will bring home their books home the next few days. We have went over statements, commands, questions and exclamations. Also please review subject of a sentence and run on sentences. These will be the items on the quiz. We will be reviewing all of this the next couple days. 
Religion- Spreading the good news of Jesus
