January 6-10

 Welcome to the 3rd quarter!!
It's hard to believe we are half way through the school year.  

We will begin writing a lot of our assignments in cursive.  The spelling tests will be written in print.  
We will also begin multiplication fact tests next week.  Each child will be timed for 1 minute to complete problems.  We will all start with the 2's and move on if they have passed.  We will take the test 3 times a week.  Please start practicing.

We will be preparing for the class mass this Friday, January 10th.  I will be sending home some readings for the students.  All are welcome to attend.  The mass will begin at 8:15.  This will also be a 12:30 dismissal.

Please have your child read the story at least two times a week.  They can also log into Think Central and read the story

Math - Chapter 14 Fractions

Science - Unit B Chapter 1
Test this Thursday.  We will be creating a study guide today.
